HTWG (Hochschule Konstanz), or HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences, is a university in southern Germany which specializes in applied scientific subjects. Students are encouraged to work with the university's corporate partners.
Placements are routine, with companies often using the school's Centre for Innovation 4.0 to train current and potential employees. Students are often accepted from abroad if they obtain suitable German language qualifications, but Studienkolleg courses are available in most cases to provide the necessary preparation. With the Alps and Lake Konstanz on its doorstep, the university is popular with lovers of the outdoors and isn't far from the urban attractions of Munich.
