What is the Expatrio Ambassador Program?
The Expatrio Ambassador Program is a referral-based program for current and previous Expatrio customers who are already helping others discover Expatrio.
If you’ve referred 5 or more people via the Expatrio Friend Referral Program, you can apply to become an Ambassador - and get rewarded with bonuses, exclusive perks, official recognition, and invites to special events.
It's our way of celebrating your impact and giving back as you help more people call Germany home!

What counts as a successful referral?
To become an Ambassador, you must have successfully referred at least 5 customers to Expatrio via the Expatrio Friend Referral Program. This means at least 5 people who have become Value Package customers and have activated both their Blocked Account and Health Insurance.
An Ambassador referral is considered successful when the person you referred:

Signs up using your Ambassador referral link

Activates the Expatrio Value Package, including both the Blocked Account and Health Insurance
Please note: Your referral count starts fresh once you become an Ambassador. Referrals made before joining the program do not count toward your Ambassador level.
When and how do I get my rewards?

You’ll receive a monthly performance report showing your referral count and level.

Bonuses are paid annually based on your level achieved that calendar year. They're sent to your Bank Account early the following year.

Other perks (like merch or invites) are awarded as you qualify for them

Alongside the other Ambassador benefits, you’ll still earn commission for every successful referral, and at higher rates than the Friend Referral Program! Details can be found in the Expatrio Partner Portal, and your payouts are made quarterly.

§ Applying for the Expatrio Value Package before August 1st means you pay €69 set-up fee. This set-up fee will be returned to you as cashback after you activate your products (Blocked Account and Health Insurance). From August 1st (00:00 CET), the set-up fee will increase to €89, with no cashback opportunity.

[2] TK-Flex is an elective tariff and only available for eligible TK Health Insurance customers. Once the TK membership is activated, TK-Flex can commence. Expatrio will provide the customer with detailed guidelines on how to do this. Within TK-Flex, users have the option to deselect/opt out of services they do not need. In return, there is a cashback bonus of up to €90 per year. However, if the services are needed after all, TK customers can reactivate their Health Insurance coverage by paying a deductible of €24 per service (up to €120) per year. Please refer to our TK-Flex page for more information.
[3] Free Incoming/ Travel Health Insurance coverage for up to 92 days as part of the Value Package for eligible customers worth up to € 95.00.
