Created from a local engineering college in 1971, the Hochschule has developed into a vital part of the state's high-tech economy, focusing on advanced computer science courses and management modules that are closely geared towards the needs of local firms. Recent introductions include degrees in Smart Building Design and MSc courses in Systems Engineering dealing with big data.
No courses are taught in English, but international students are welcome, as long as they meet TestDaf levels 3-5 or DSH 2/3. However, students must attain those credentials before applying, as the school itself does not offer language courses.
