The Stuttgart POP Academy is a local branch of the privately owned POP group of universities.

As with all POP academies, the university focuses on subjects like musical production and recording, design and photography, fashion design, and event management. This makes it an important center for creative professions, and an excellent route for those hungry for career progression in the arts.

Created as part of the German POP group in 2012, Stuttgart POP Academy offers a selection of 6 BA level courses, all provided in conjunction with the University of West London. It also provides 35 vocational training courses, which do not have full degree status, but still contribute towards creative careers.

More about POP Academy Stuttgart

POP (which stands for "popular arts and professions") is a private university in the city of Stuttgart. It offers courses in 6 faculties, including music and sound engineering; management and marketing; acting and communications; games, film and photography; design, fashion and make-up, as well as fitness and sports.

The university offers 6 BA level degrees, offering solid training for musicians, music producers, photographers, textile designers, journalists, and graphic designers. Courses are run in combination with the University of West London, and all require good command of the German language. An IELTS English language certificate may also be required for entry, and interviews or auditions are also routine. Courses take either 30 months for full-time BA's, or 48 months for part-time options.
