A Scholarship That Goes Beyond Tuition

Expatrio is offering 10 scholarships in total, with prizes that go far beyond the basics:

• 🥇 First Prize: €15,000

• 🥈 Second Prize: €12,000

• 🥉 Third Prize: €9,000

• 🎁 4th to 10th place: Perks like 6 months of rent paid, a new laptop, German language lessons, and semester contribution fees

This is one of the largest privately-funded scholarship initiatives for international students in Germany, and all you need to apply is a 2-minute video.

Who Can Apply?

The scholarship is open to students from any country who meet the following criteria:

• 🎓 You will start your studies in Winter Semester 2025

• 🇩🇪 You will move to Germany and activate your Blocked Account and Health Insurance with Expatrio by October 31, 2025

• 📦 You have applied for the Expatrio Value Package by September 30, 2025

How to Apply: Step-by-Step

Here’s how you can join the Expatrio Scholarship 2025:

1. Get the Expatrio Value Package

Apply for the Value Package, which includes your Blocked Account, Health Insurance, a free German Bank Account, and more. Only Value Package applicants can join the scholarship.

2. Record Your Video

Create a video (max. 2 minutes) answering the question:
“How will your studies in Germany help you make a positive impact for others?”

• It can be recorded in any language—add English or German subtitles

• Keep it original, heartfelt, and personal. Video quality does not determine your chances.

• Save your video in .mp4 format

3. Submit Your Application

Upload your video using the scholarship application form. Make sure to use the same email address as your Value Package application.

📅 Deadline: September 30, 2025

4. Arrive in Germany and Activate

Once you're in Germany, activate your Blocked Account and Health Insurance with Expatrio before October 31, 2025, to become eligible to receive the prize.

5. Wait for the Announcement

Winners will be announced in November 2025. You’ll receive an email if selected, and we’ll also post the results on our social media.

6. Winners Receive Their Prize

Prize money will be transferred directly to the bank account linked to your Blocked Account payouts.
