Westphalian University of Applied Sciences, or Westfälische Hochschule, is present in four cities in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia: Ahaus, Bocholt, Gelsenkirchen and Recklinghausen. Founded in 1992 under the name of Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences, the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences has almost 30 years of history. With more than 8,000 students and 200 professors in its four campuses, the university is proud of offering an international environment for students attending one of the 45 courses offered.
