Founded in 1994, the Deggendorf Institute of Technology celebrates this year its 25th anniversary. With 7,000 students, 20% of those being international students, the university of applied sciences offers its several study programs through six faculties in two campuses, the main campus Deggendorf and at the European Campus in Pfarrkirchen.

The Deggendorf Institute of Technology offers study programs in eight areas: applied natural sciences, business, civil engineering & environmental sciences, design, communication & media, electrical engineering & information technology, healthcare sciences, informatics and mechanical engineering & mechatronics. You will be able to find German and English taught degrees in all faculties.

Life on campus at DIT provides much more than just study programs. Students are able to enjoy a range of social activities there, such as cinema, music festival, university choir, drama groups, sports and more. Moreover, the university holds a close relationship with the town of Deggendorf as both grew together in the past 25 years. DIT offers support for regional companies regarding research, development and consultation about technology subjects.

  1. Blocked Account for free (the “BFF Campaign”) is a special offer for all customers who apply for the Value Package as well as customers who upgrade into the Value Package between 30 June to 31 October 2023.   2. TK-Flex is an elective tariff and only available for eligible TK health insurance customers. Once the TK membership is activated, TK-Flex can commence. Expatrio will provide the customer with detailed guidelines on how to do this. Within TK-Flex, users have the option to deselect/opt out of services they do not need.
