Subjects: Economics;Risk Management;Finance
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
In today's interconnected world, globalized economies face globalized risks. Financial crises, climate change, wars, geopolitical tensions, and pandemics all pose threats to economies that are deeply integrated on a global scale. These disruptions are not confined to any single nation. Households, businesses, and policymakers must tackle risks that cross national borders. To manage these global risks, we need experts who blend economics with strong quantitative skills and knowledge from fields like international politics, development studies, and international law. This program equips students to navigate a world economy fraught with risks. With a Master's degree in Economics of Global Risk, graduates are ready for careers in government, non-governmental organizations, multinational corporations, and research institutions. This program covers subjects such as financial crises, climate change, international politics, development studies, and international law. It prepares students to understand and address the complexities of a risky global economy. By combining economics with a quantitative focus and interdisciplinary knowledge, students gain the tools needed to succeed in various professional settings.
