Weingarten is a town of 25,000 inhabitants with over 1,700 companies that employ at least 10,350 people. There are two universities that offer a wide range of degree programs. The University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten has various faculties, including Social Work, Health and Nursing, Technology and Management, and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
