Weingarten is a town of 25,000 inhabitants with over 1,700 companies that employ at least 10,350 people. There are two universities that offer a wide range of degree programs. The town has four museums and interesting architecture to enjoy. With residents from many countries around the world, a sense of community is encouraged through 250 clubs and volunteer organizations.

Studying and Working in Weingarten

The University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten has various faculties, including Social Work, Health and Nursing, Technology and Management, and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The Teachers' College of Weingarten offers a wide range of degrees with teacher training, from Automotive Engineering to Speech Therapy. Weingarten also has a vibrant student scene featuring a number of pubs, regular parties, and meeting places.

In contrast to its historic architecture and traditions, there are a large number of high-tech companies based in Weingarten. Companies offer web design, IT security, and hosting services, and there are also more traditional industries such as logistics and steel production. There are many opportunities for graduates to join the workforce in this diverse town.
