Situated in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Ulm is a historic city that was founded in around 850. Known as the birthplace of Albert Einstein, the city is also famous for the Gothic Minster which currently has the world's tallest church steeple. Ulm has a long history as a center for industry and trade, which continues today.
