An introduction by Expatrio on the International School of Management (ISM).

The International School of Management (ISM) is a German n applied sciences university privately funded that ranks among Germany’s leading business schools. Founded in 1990, the ISM has seven campuses in Dortmund, Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart and Berlin and is home to over 3850 students. Internationality, practical orientation and a personal learning atmosphere are just as much apart of ISM's success factors as the teaching of professional skills and the intensive training of soft skills. This includes not only exciting practical projects and internships, but also lecturers who come from the business world. These success factors are reflected in all of ISM's Bachelor, Master and MBA programs.

More about ISM

The university of applied sciences ISM offers international high-quality education in Bachelor's and Master's degree levels. For Bachelor's level, students combine studies in English and another language of choice between German, French or Spanish. At least one semester abroad is mandatory as it is an internship outside of Germany. As for the Master's level, students are also expected to spend a semester abroad in one of the partner universities and there is also the possibility of completing an international double degree.

The study programs are designed to prepare students for the needs of the real business world. They are encouraged to develop a practice-oriented thesis to complete their degrees. Moreover, ISM offers a personal atmosphere with small class sizes, several types of social activities and an interactive learning environment.
