The general entry requirement for a master's degree at the University of Rostock is a first professional degree (usually a bachelor's degree). ► Entry requirements for master's programs at the University of Rostock The following subject-specific entry requirements must also be met for the British and American Transcultural Studies sub-degree program : According to Section 3 of the General Examination Regulations (Bachelor/Master), access to the two-subject master's degree program at the Faculty of Humanities is tied to proof of a first professionally qualifying university degree with at least 180 credit points, of which at least 60 credit points are in the area of English/American Studies. Proof of English language skills C1 according to GER. If the criteria mentioned are not all met, the applicant can provide further evidence to demonstrate their subject-specific and course-specific qualifications. The examination committee then decides on a case-by-case basis whether the applicant will still be admitted to the course of study.
