Qualification Requirements
In general, the prerequisite for a master's degree is a first professional academic degree, for example a Bachelor of Arts. The first degree should have been acquired in a subject relevant to the course of study. This means that at least 45 ECTS must be earned in political science courses and proven by transcript at the time of application. For the master's program in International Relations you need English language skills at level C1 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. Applicants who are not German must demonstrate knowledge of German at least at level C1 (GER) by passing the DSH 2 or equivalent.
