Course description
Our mission is to educate students in the most advanced techniques in geographic information processing. Building on a Bachelor of Science in Geoinformatics or a related field, the Master of Science in Geoinformatics and Spatial Data Science program enhances problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities. It also teaches innovative and creative scientific research methods. At the Institute for Geoinformatics Münster, a leading center for geospatial information science, Master students engage in cutting-edge research projects. This involvement offers opportunities to conduct Master theses on emerging technologies. Another entry requirement for applicants is proof of active participation sufficient knowledge of the English language for the courses. The proof is provided by the TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or 80 (internet-based), through which IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 6.5 (academic) or an equivalent certificate provided. Applicants can also demonstrate their English skills in the Transcript of Records or achievements in English-language courses during the bachelor's degree as documented in the certificate prove.
