The multidisciplinary, English language "Peace and Conflict Studies" program is a collaborative effort with the University of Kent. Students spend one academic year in Canterbury and another in Marburg. Upon successful completion, they earn an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies (Joint Degree) from both the Philipp University of Marburg and the University of Kent. This program delves into conflicts and peace processes amid international changes. Students gain specialized knowledge in peace and conflict research. They learn to analyze conflicts in both national and international contexts, develop conflict management strategies, and actively participate in conflict resolution.
