German: Upon application, international applicants must prove German language skills at level B1. Language entry requirement is proof of two modern foreign languages at level B1 of the European Frame of Reference by the end of the course of study, in accordance with the examination regulations of the University of Erfurt for language studies. The languages to be proven depend on the chosen program focus.
Qualification Requirements
an above-average degree from a relevant university course in literary studies, individual philologies, e.g. media or cultural studies (focus on literary studies) of at least six semesters standard period of study (final grade 2.3 or better) Access is also open to graduates of cultural studies, philosophy or media studies who wish to expand their literary and analytical skills through a compact postgraduate course. In this case, the special motivation for the course of study must be explained to the Master's programme officer.
