Course description
The Master's degree course in Geodetic Engineering is designed for students who have a first degree in geodesy and geoinformation or related fields such as computer science, mathematics, physics, geosciences, or electrical engineering. At the start, modules are provided to ensure all students have a common foundation of knowledge. The program then offers three specialized profiles: Mobile Sensor Technology and Robotics, Geodetic Earth System Sciences and Data Analysis, and Geoinformation and Spatial Development. These profiles align with the research focuses of the geodetic institutes. Students gain the skills and tools needed to identify geodetic engineering problems, formulate research questions, and solve them through projects. The course encourages active participation in research projects, which can also serve as a stepping stone to a doctorate. The program delivers scientifically rigorous knowledge and equips students with the skills and methods necessary for careers in industry, science, and administration.
