Course description
The Master Digital Transformation (MDT) program offers a university degree that is both academically rigorous and professionally valuable. This program prepares you to become a leading expert in digital transformation projects, focusing on the technical aspects such as software engineering processes, methods, and tools, as well as the development and application of digital systems. To excel in digital transformation, you need to work on cross-domain projects, apply a systems engineering approach, involve users and stakeholders, and integrate results from various fields. The MDT program equips you with these skills through a comprehensive 2-semester teaching and training phase, featuring case studies and lectures from industry experts. This is followed by a 2-semester research and project phase, which includes electives and thesis projects. The Ruhr Master School (RMS) enhances the program by offering a range of compulsory elective studies within a cross-university network. Additionally, the program includes international, project-oriented components, summer schools, and symposia, providing a well-rounded educational experience. By the end of the MDT program, you will have the competencies needed to lead digital transformation initiatives effectively, making you a valuable asset in any organization.
