Sustainable Civil Engineering
Subjects: Sustainability;Civil Engineering
B.Eng. | Bachelor of Engineering
Course description
Civil engineers envision sustainable infrastructures that are cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and socially responsible. We see our future graduates as true "civil engineers," taking on the responsibility of solving complex issues with sustainable methods. This includes building, repairing, or rehabilitating tunnels, roads, bridges, and more. Why focus on sustainable methods? The building sector significantly contributes to CO2 emissions. Rethinking and exploring new paths is essential. By using sustainable and alternative building materials, managing resources effectively, designing energy-efficient buildings, and employing digital and new structural methods, we can greatly reduce our ecological footprint. Civil engineers possess the mathematical, scientific, and computational skills needed to address the challenges of developing and maintaining a civil society. Interested? The Sustainable Civil Engineering program at THI in Neuburg an der Donau is the perfect path for your education and future career. With your curiosity and our expertise, we can innovate and combat climate change. Seize this opportunity!
