Course description
Our international Bachelor programme in Energy Systems and Renewable Energies is designed for both foreign and German students who are passionate about energy technology and sustainability. This program builds on the fundamentals of mechanical and electrical engineering to address one of the 21st century's most pressing issues: efficient and environmentally friendly energy supply. The current energy revolution hinges on innovative concepts for generating, distributing, and consuming energy. Our degree course in Energy Systems and Renewable Energies tackles these critical questions. Students will explore climate-friendly power generation, intelligent distribution systems, and efficient storage solutions. The curriculum also delves into the interaction with new types of prosumers, such as those involved in electromobility and power-to-heat technologies. By the end of their studies, students will possess extensive knowledge of power engineering technologies, with a strong emphasis on practical application. They will also have established valuable business contacts within the industry and gained international experience. English: The program is taught entirely in English language (exception: courses of semesters 1 and 2 may also be attended in German). Sufficient language skills are essential to successfully complete the coursework. Note that we do not require English proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS. German: There is no requirement to formally prove German language skills for your admission. You may start with little or no German language proficiency. However, German is the official national language in Germany. The transition from your home country to the German university system and every day life will be made easier the more German you know. Furthermore, German skills will greatly increase your chances in finding a student job and or an internship at a German company.
Qualification Requirements
Apply at Uni - Assist If you obtained your higher secondary school certificate outside of Germany, uni-assist has to verify your eligibility to study in Germany and to convert school grades to the German grading system.
