Course description
The Master’s program in Micro- and Nanotechnologies is a non-consecutive course of study. It is a collaborative effort between the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. This program allows students to earn a Master’s degree in Micro- and Nanotechnologies. The curriculum includes courses in both fundamental and engineering sciences. It aims to enhance the skills and knowledge gained from undergraduate studies or practical work experience in micro- and nanotechnologies. The program is tailored for students with a bachelor’s degree or those transitioning from a diploma program (subject to individual evaluation) in fields such as Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical Physics, or Materials Sciences and Engineering. All bachelor’s programs must have a significant focus on electrical engineering/electronics, semiconductor technology, and solid-state physics. This program is designed to deepen your expertise and prepare you for advanced roles in the field. It’s ideal for those who have a strong foundation in the relevant subjects and are eager to expand their knowledge and skills.
