Course description
In the International Business and Economics program, you will spend five semesters studying business administration and economics in Thuringia, all in English. A standout feature of this system-accredited degree is the guaranteed semester abroad at one of our 70+ partner universities across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, or Australia. You can also choose to spend additional semesters abroad. While abroad, you can attend lectures in English or the local language. The program is primarily in English, but some modules can be taken in German. You have the flexibility to tailor your studies, with 110 of the 180 ECTS credits coming from elective courses. These electives often involve working in small groups on practical case studies. Graduates of this competitive program have excellent career prospects, particularly in export-oriented and international companies. Alternatively, you can pursue a master's degree in International Business and Economics, also taught in English and including another semester abroad. Notably, over 80 percent of recent master's students have been international. Outstanding master's graduates may even pursue a cooperative doctorate with our international partner universities. This program offers a unique blend of academic rigor and practical experience, preparing you for a successful career in the global business arena.
