Engineers with interdisciplinary thinking and a solid, methodical scientific foundation in classical engineering disciplines are essential for a progressive and sustainable society. The global demand for such engineers is steadily increasing. The bachelor's degree course "Engineering Science" emphasizes the fundamentals and general methods in engineering. Students are introduced to the diverse spectrum of the engineering profession, covering core topics such as mechanical engineering, process and systems engineering, and electrical and information technology. Through a comprehensive range of basic engineering courses, students gain the ability to understand and connect different engineering disciplines. This equips them to independently and creatively solve both theoretical and practical problems.
