Course description

Upon completing the program, graduates possess a robust portfolio of knowledge, skills, and competencies in numerical simulation and modeling of engineering problems. They have a deep understanding of mechanical issues and specialize in simulating structures, fluids, thermomechanical processes, and electromechanical interactions. Graduates can translate complex physical systems into mechanical models and use advanced numerical analysis tools to predict system behavior.

Furthermore, sufficient knowledge of the English language at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages must be demonstrated. Applicants must provide one of the following proofs: TOEFL-Test C1 (95-120 iBT) IELTS C1 (7.0) CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) or asking for an equivalence test at the examination board of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Qualification Requirements

Relevant bachelor's degree (at least 180 CP) and an average grade of at least 2.5 determined from the examination results. Proof of subject-specific competence through: - at least 15 CP in the competency area of Mathematics and Computer Science, - 40 CP in the competency area of basic engineering principles (including 10 CP of Technical Mechanics, 5 CP of Fluid Mechanics or Thermodynamics)
