The curriculum covers current, multifaceted subjects like data analytics and virology. They are communicative, enjoy working independently and conceptually, and thrive on interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research challenges. Thanks to the collaboration between the Department of Life Science Technologies and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at TH OWL, the program addresses these topics comprehensively. The Department of Life Science Technologies excels in microbiology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, and cosmetics and detergents within its “Applied Health Sciences” research cluster. Qualification Requirements
First degree obtained at a university or a university of applied sciences qualifying for a professional position at least at the level of a bachelor’s degree in medical and health technology, medical informatics, bioinformatics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology or life sciences with a standard period of study of at least six semesters (180 ECTS points) and evidence of a final examination grade of 2.5 or better.
