Admission to the international Bachelor’s degree programme in Engineering and Management (B.Eng.) requires good command of the English language (level B2 according to the CEFR). Solely the following proofs of proficiency are accepted: • For German applicants: Innerhalb der Bundesrepublik Deutschland erfoglte Abiturprüfung im Fach Englisch mit mindestens 10 Punkten oder im Durchschnitt der in den letzten vier Schulhalbjahre vor Erlangung der Hochschulreife erreichte Punktzahl im Fach Englisch von mindestens 10 Punkten; • Cambridge English: First Certificate in English (FCE) with at least grade C or higher certificate; • Placement-test B2 at the language centre of MLU or HoMe with the result “pass“, if availale; • Successfully passed aptitude test at Studienkolleg with at least grade 2,0 in English; • Native-speaker competence in English: applicants who have completed their secondary education (A-levels, etc.), Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in one of the following countries and have demonstrably passed at least the last two 2 years of their education there are considered as native speakers: Australia, Ireland, Canada (without Quebec), New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom, USA; • IELTS (at least band 6.0); • TOEFL iBT with at least a score of 72; • UNIcert II.
