Course description
Graduates of the Master's degree in Physics at KIT possess a solid foundation in both experimental and theoretical physics. Through their studies in the Major in Physics, the Second Major in Physics, and the Minor in Physics, they have expanded their knowledge to include the latest scientific advancements. Additionally, they have expertise in a non-physics elective subject, chosen from mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering, based on their interests. These graduates are adept at applying complex theoretical and experimental physics concepts to research problems, developing effective solution strategies. Experimentally, they can analyze measured data, formulate models, and make accurate predictions. Those specializing in theoretical physics excel in performing intricate calculations and interpreting results within theoretical frameworks. Their acquired knowledge allows them to categorize various situations and topics accurately. Graduates are skilled in summarizing their scientific findings both in writing and orally, presenting them with engaging presentation techniques. Completing this degree equips them to work in diverse fields such as research and development at universities or in industry, data analysis, process optimization, programming, and hardware applications. They are also well-prepared to pursue doctoral studies in physics. At KIT, there is a strong emphasis on research-related teaching. The Master's program offers a wide range of topics, enabling students to deepen
