All applicants must have a qualification in English language before they can be admitted to the Bachelor programme Print Media Technologies (PMT), whether their first language is English or not. All teaching at PMT at Hochschule der Medien (HdM) is carried out in English (with the exception of some German teaching during the third year) and tutors must be convinced that you have sufficient fluency in written and spoken English to cope with your course from the start. Therefore, all non-native English-speaking applicants must satisfy one of the following requirements

Here you might be able to find more guidance regarding your high school diploma or university degree in terms of it being sufficient for admission to a German University of Applied Sciences. If English is not your first language: Please submit a current official certificate demonstrating your English language skills: B2 level/IELTS 6.0 overall (with 6.0 in reading and writing, 5.5 in listening and speaking)/ TOEFL from 72 overall (with 18 in reading, 17 in writing, 17 in listening and 20 in speaking). We might also be able to considerother alternative qualifications. A personal statement: Please write about your skills, experience, and ambitions. You should provide reasons for choosing this course, information about any relevant previous experience, and your career plans. Your CV including any work experience you might have. A reference letter by a current or former professor/teacher or employer, relevant to this application. Your referee can not be a friend, a family member, or another student.
