Course description
Economic issues touch every aspect of our lives. We see economic growth, wage inequality, and unemployment in the news alongside financial crises, emission trading, and globalization's impact. In our personal and professional lives, we constantly make economic decisions. Studying economics helps students analyze and address these questions. The Master of Education course aims to prepare future economics teachers for grammar schools. Building on a Bachelor's degree in economics, this program deepens both subject-specific and didactic knowledge and skills. Students in this program explore various subjects, including economic growth, wage inequality, and unemployment. They also delve into financial crises, emission trading, and globalization. The goal is to equip them with the tools to teach these complex topics effectively. By focusing on these areas, the program ensures that future teachers can guide their students through the intricacies of economics. This preparation is crucial for fostering a deeper understanding of economic principles in the next generation.
