Upon completing the program, you will: - Gain a comprehensive understanding of current and future energy needs. - Master the physics of solar cells and the integration of renewable energies into the power grid. - Learn the fundamentals of storage applications. - Understand the design and engineering of solar thermal systems. - Develop and design solar cells, photovoltaic modules, off-grid and grid-connected photovoltaic systems, solar thermal collectors, and heat storages. - Optimize and analyze photovoltaic systems and powerplants, focusing on innovation, efficiency, cost, and durability. - Evaluate new and emerging technologies in solar cells and solar collectors. - Apply scientific writing and presentation standards. - Create a master’s thesis based on your scientific work. - Collaborate with international students online, working in digital teams.
