Course description
The research-oriented master’s program builds on the bachelor’s program in physics. It aims to give students a deeper level of knowledge and an understanding of the scientific methods of physics and – depending on the choice of elective courses – of related subjects. Program goals include deepening students’ knowledge of physics, supporting their specialization in the field, and helping them expand their skills, including the ability to perform independent research. Program participants acquire the ability to successfully deal with a variety of scientific and technical problems as generalists in the natural sciences. --- The research-focused master’s program builds upon the foundation laid by the bachelor’s program in physics. It seeks to deepen students' understanding of physics and its scientific methodologies. Depending on their elective courses, students can also explore related subjects. The program's objectives are to enhance students' physics knowledge, aid their specialization, and develop their research skills. Participants gain the competence to tackle diverse scientific and technical challenges, equipping them as versatile professionals in the natural sciences.
