When should we launch new products? Who are the right audiences to target? Is it wise to invest in new production lines? These are critical questions for any business. Big Data is becoming a cornerstone in answering them. From finance to healthcare, the volume of structured and unstructured data that companies generate is skyrocketing. Big Data specialists play a crucial role. They connect logic and quantitative methods with programming languages, frameworks, and infrastructure. They interpret and implement results into business processes. The demand for Big Data analysts is soaring. Recognizing this need, FOM Hochschule has crafted a study program focusing on the corporate value of data. Starting in the summer semester of 2022, programmers, engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and statisticians can enroll in the new full-time Master’s program “Big Data & Business Analytics.” This program is taught entirely in English. The curriculum covers essential subjects like economic programming, engineering principles, scientific methods, mathematics, and statistics. This comprehensive approach ensures that graduates are well-equipped to meet the growing demands of the industry. By offering this program, FOM Hochschule aims to bridge the gap between data and business value, preparing students for a future where data-driven decisions are paramount.

University degree* (Diplom, Magister, Bachelor, Staatsexamen) with a share of at least 60 credit points** in (business) informatics modules or with a share of at least 60 credit points** from subject-related modules (e.g. mathematics, statistics) or Successfully completed oral and written admission examination
