Our Global Business and Economics degree program, taught entirely in English, prepares you for an international career. You will gain essential and practical knowledge in Business Studies, including Marketing, Finance, Economics, and Business Taxation, all within a global context. The curriculum also includes social skills and additional foreign language courses. Throughout your studies, you can choose specialisation modules from a wide range of subjects, such as International Management Training or International Economics, allowing you to tailor your education to your interests. In the fifth or sixth semester, you have the option to spend an additional semester abroad at one of our over 110 partner universities worldwide, enhancing your intercultural skills. In order to be admitted to the English-language Global Business and Economics degree programme, proof of sufficient foreign language skills in English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages must be submitted. This also applies to applicants whose native language is English. As from Winter Semester 2024/25 only Uni Assist will also check your proof of English language skills directly. You will have to upload your proof of language skills when applying through Uni Assist. Qualification Requirements
A certificate of general university entrance qualification (Abitur) entitles the holder to study the degree programme. The subject-specific university entrance qualification (Fachgebundene Hochschulreife) entitles the holder to study the degree programmes specified in the certificate. Vocational training and work experience (university admission without Abitur): Under certain conditions, you can also take up studies without a Fachhochschulreife or Abitur. Foreign university entrance qualification. With the Fachhochschulreife (entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences) you can study anything at our university of applied sciences.
