In the postgraduate International Tourism Development degree, you'll expand your expertise and deepen your knowledge across various industries within the health and tourism sector. This includes spas, prevention centres, rehab clinics, sports centres, and recreation, leisure, and culture centres. The course covers global tourism trends such as: - Health and wellness tourism, driven by demographic changes and rising health consciousness. - The continued globalisation and urbanisation of destination package deals. - The development of new international destinations. - Increased digitalisation in the tourism industry through website booking engines. - Greater customisation of travel packages with "dynamic packaging." - Social networks as a key platform for marketing and travel destination reviews. - A growing trend towards ecological, green tourism.
