Course description

Economic and technological advancements in the computer industry and telecommunications sector are marked by a growing synergy between hardware and software solutions, alongside the networking of systems. A diverse array of standards and technologies is in play. The merging of information and communication technology calls for a fresh, interdisciplinary educational approach. In the Communication Systems and Networks Master's degree course, the emphasis is on enhancing theoretical knowledge through scientific work. This program includes internships within individual modules, a research project, and engagement with scientific topics, all of which foster scientific, self-directed learning and working. The course is offered by the Institute of Communications Engineering at the Faculty of Information, Media and Electrical Engineering at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in St. Augustin.
