Course description
The Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer offer an international bachelor's program in Engineering Physics. This program bridges the gap between traditional physics and engineering. Since 1998, students have gained a solid foundation in mathematics and the natural sciences, combined with practical engineering skills. These skills are essential for advancing modern technologies. In laboratory projects, students tackle real-world assignments in teams. Many complete their final projects in technology-oriented businesses or external research institutes. More than half of the students in this program come from abroad, representing various continents. They collaborate closely in lectures, practice sessions, and projects. The first two semesters of classes are conducted entirely in English. As the program progresses, an increasing number of courses are taught in German. Admission to this English-speaking program requires strong English skills.
