Course description
The Master’s program in Information and Communications Engineering spans three semesters. In the first two semesters, students tackle advanced topics, establishing a solid foundation in core areas like signal processing, signal transmission, and network engineering. They also gain essential skills in mathematics and software engineering, which are vital for this field. Parallel colloquia and general studies courses enhance the interdisciplinary nature of the program. Students can choose from a variety of required-elective modules to deepen their expertise in areas such as radio and mobile communications, communications networks, hardware and software for communications systems, signal processing and multimedia communications, photonic communications systems, and machine learning. If appropriate, students may also select modules from other Master’s programs. The curriculum emphasizes not only the deepening of theoretical knowledge but also the acquisition of practical, methodological, and analytical skills. Teaching focuses on developing systematic, scientific thinking, effective working methods, and the ability to apply and classify scientific findings in real-world scenarios.
