Course description
The master's degree program in Biodiversity and Ecology (M. Sc.) is crafted as a professional course, spanning four semesters and totaling 120 ECTS points. It welcomes graduates from life science disciplines such as biology, landscape ecology, geoecology, and environmental sciences. To offer maximum flexibility and allow for personal focus, the program includes only three compulsory specialist modules. The core of the program consists of a customizable selection of six modules from the available options. This flexibility also makes it easy to incorporate international study experiences. The master's thesis, worth 30 ECTS, is completed in the fourth semester. The program integrates a wide range of methods, which vary depending on the chosen advanced modules.
