Course description
Supported by the Elite Network of Bavaria, the exceptional Faculties of Biology and Medicine at LMU offer a top-tier Master of Science in “Human Biology”. This Elite Master of Science program is interdisciplinary, research-focused, and competency-driven, providing a profound understanding of health and disease mechanisms. Given today's biomedical challenges—such as widespread diseases, the rise of precision medicine, an ageing population, and the handling of big data—there's a pressing need for highly-skilled, qualified young scientists. This program addresses that need by educating students at the intersection of biology and medicine, preparing them for a leading role in biomedical science. Up to 30 highly motivated and engaged students will receive education and support from exceptional, experienced, and internationally recognized professors. These students will be groomed to become outstanding researchers, equipped to tackle the pressing biomedical issues of our time.
