Course description
Our master's programme emphasizes modelling and simulation. Therefore, we expect applicants to have a solid foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra and multidimensional calculus, and preferably ordinary differential equations. A strong understanding of physics is also essential. If your interest lies in applied geophysics, particularly exploration seismology or related techniques, this programme may not suit your needs. We do not cover these topics in our curriculum, nor do we conduct research in these areas.
