Do you want to help shape our digital future? Do you think our culture is being transformed by digital media? In the Bachelor of Digital Media, you'll dive into the ideas, approaches, and history of digital media, along with its technical foundations and tools. You'll also get hands-on experience by developing and implementing your own projects in video, audio, games, apps, or mash-ups. This program is both theoretically sound and practically tested. It's internationally oriented, with all main subject courses conducted in English. You'll engage with the latest discussions on digital media from around the world, including Germany, the USA, India, Japan, and China. You can even complete part of your studies abroad. For instance, you could study at the School of Creative Media at Hong Kong City University. Located in West Kowloon, Hong Kong's cultural hub, the school offers extensive technical facilities like a 3D Multimedia Theater, Production Studio, and Future Cinema Studio CMC Gallery. The following tests will be accepted as proof of sufficient proficiency in English: TOEFL-Test (Test of English as a Foreign Language) internet-based test with at least 90 points (Reading: 21 points, Listening: 19 points, Speaking: 22 points, Writing: 20 points) Test delivery at the test centre or as Home Edition, as well as 4-skills TOEFL iBT Paper Edition from test date 12 April 2021 Cambridge B2 First with at least Scale 175 Cambridge C1 Advanced with at least Scale 180 Cambridge C2 Proficiency with at least Scale 200 IELTS Academic Version (International English Language Testing System) with at least 6,5 points Pearson Test of English, Academic Test (PTE Academic) with at least 63 points TOEIC- *4 skills* Test with least 850 points for listening and reading and at least 340 points for speaking and writing
Qualification Requirements
A university entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, HZB) is required in order to study at Leuphana College. The Hochschulzugangsberechtigung is a degree that qualifies students for a course of study.
