More about HFR

The University of Applied Forest Sciences Rottenburg (HFR) won the 2008 "Studying in the Field of Sustainability" award, presented by the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation and the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft. A leader in sustainable forestry, it offers BSc and MSc courses in Forest Management, Renewable Energy, Water Resource Management, and Resource-Efficient Building.

The university encourages students to explore the nearby forest, while the thriving university city of Tübingen is a short journey away. The school welcomes foreign students, with most courses having an international dimension, and it offers chances to study both in Germany and abroad.
