Studying and Working in Heidenheim an der Brenz

The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University is fairly small but well-regarded, and it offers courses in business administration, social sciences, and engineering at bachelor level. Work and study in this city are somewhat intertwined via 900 partner companies and organizations in what the school calls its "dual system". International exchanges are also routine aspects of the student experience.

Courses are taught in German, but bridge years are available, offering a year of German tuition to prepare international students so that language isn't a barrier to admission. Following their courses, students tend to move quickly into employment, with engineering and business administration both popular career categories.
