Founded in 1994, the Deggendorf Institute of Technology celebrates this year its 25th anniversary. With 7,000 students, 20% of those being international students, the university of applied sciences offers its several study programs through six faculties in two campuses, the main campus Deggendorf and at the European Campus in Pfarrkirchen.

The Deggendorf Institute of Technology offers study programs in eight areas: applied natural sciences, business, civil engineering & environmental sciences, design, communication & media, electrical engineering & information technology, healthcare sciences, informatics and mechanical engineering & mechatronics. You will be able to find German and English taught degrees in all faculties.

Life on campus at DIT provides much more than just study programs. Students are able to enjoy a range of social activities there, such as cinema, music festival, university choir, drama groups, sports and more. Moreover, the university holds a close relationship with the town of Deggendorf as both grew together in the past 25 years. DIT offers support for regional companies regarding research, development and consultation about technology subjects.
