CODE was founded in 2017 with the aim of providing innovative and relevant education in the field of digital product development. Its founders saw a need for a new kind of university that would better prepare students for the digital world and its rapidly evolving technological landscape. Strongly linked with Berlin's start-up scene, CODE is backed by Germany's most successful and visionary internet entrepreneurs.

More about CODE University of Applied Sciences

CODE University of Applied Sciences is a leading tech university in Germany. The school offers bachelor programs that allow students to learn from three degree programs by working in interdisciplinary teams on real-world projects.

Software engineers craft code in a multitude of environments, disciplines, and languages – on their own and in teams.

Interaction designers utilize technology to identify user needs and then design, engineer, and validate corresponding user interfaces and experiences.

Product managers develop strategies and concepts for digital products, coordinate their development, analyze and validate ideas, and help them grow.

CODE also offers a Software Technology and Systems (STS) program as part of its curriculum. The STS program is focused on teaching students to reflect on society, politics, and the impact of technology on the world.

Throughout their degree, students have access to a network of industry partners and mentors. Whether they’re designing a new app, launching a startup, or creating a digital product, they’re learning by doing at CODE.

The admission process at CODE is designed to be straightforward and inclusive. CODE assesses each applicant based on their potential and motivation to succeed, rather than just their grades. CODE is made up of nearly 50% international students and welcomes digital pioneers from all over the world. All courses at CODE are taught in English.
