Double Degree European Economic Studies
Subjects: Economics
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Understanding international economic structures, foreign cultures, and language skills is crucial in today's globalized markets and economies. In the winter semester of 2000/01, Bavaria introduced "European Economic Studies (EES)," the region's first consecutive bachelor’s/master’s programme in economics. This pioneering programme, one of Germany's first, follows a 3 + 2 model, offering a 3-year bachelor’s degree followed by a 2-year master’s degree. The EES programme stands out for its diverse electives, practical relevance, and internationally oriented curriculum. It emphasizes interdisciplinarity, integrating essential topics from social sciences and economics. This approach ensures students gain a comprehensive understanding of the interconnected global landscape.
