Computer Aided Conception & Production in Mechanical Engineering
Subjects: Mechanical Engineering;Technology
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Advanced modeling and simulation techniques are becoming crucial for mechanical engineers across all sectors. The M.Sc. Computer Aided Conception and Production in Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc. CAME) program meets this need by blending expertise in manufacturing, design, automation, production, and simulations. This program trains students to create digital twins of technical objects and systems, offering simulation solutions for complex design tasks in mechanical engineering. Students will deepen their understanding of essential engineering principles such as the finite element method, numerical methods, continuum mechanics, and multibody dynamics. Additionally, the program introduces contemporary topics like intelligent monitoring of engineering systems and artificial neural networks. This comprehensive approach ensures that students develop a robust profile as computational engineers, equipping them to tackle the evolving challenges in manufacturing and production. The M.Sc. CAME program fosters a strong foundation in both traditional and modern engineering concepts, preparing students to excel in digital engineering. By focusing on practical and theoretical knowledge, the program aims to create experts who can navigate and innovate within the dynamic landscape of today's engineering industries.
