Course description

In the master's and doctoral degree program in Clinical Exercise Science, you will delve into how physical activity can prevent and rehabilitate illnesses. The curriculum emphasizes medical training therapy, focusing on clinical applications, and performance physiology, which applies to health, popular, and elite sports. You will cover theoretical, methodological, and experimental basics. The program also includes practical training. These hands-on sections are offered in collaboration with hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, and outpatient rehabilitation centers. You might also work with athletes at the Olympic training center or engage in tutoring and mentoring activities. Qualification Requirements

The general prerequisite for enrolling in a Master’s program is a first academic degree that qualifies you for a profession, e.g., a Bachelor’s degree. Your first degree should be in Sports Therapy and Prevention. In principle, applications with degrees in disciplines related to prevention and rehabilitation in sports and medicine or similar fields are also acceptable. The final decision is made by the department’s examination committee. Applicants who are not native speakers of English must provide evidence of English language skills that correspond at least to the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
