Advanced Materials and Processes
Subjects: Advanced Materials and Processes,Materials
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Advanced Materials and Processes (MAP) is a blend of Materials Science and Engineering with Chemical and Biological Engineering. These fields are crucial for creating new technologies. Without new materials, we wouldn't have digital computers, jet engines, or customized medical implants. Developing materials with new functions or better properties needs carefully designed production processes. These processes must be economical and environmentally friendly. Sometimes, they even require new catalyst materials. In MAP, you study subjects like Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, and Biological Engineering. The study programs focus on innovation and sustainability. They aim to equip you with the skills to develop and produce advanced materials. This combination of disciplines fosters an environment where groundbreaking technologies can thrive. It emphasizes the importance of both the materials themselves and the processes used to create them. By studying MAP, you contribute to a future where technology and sustainability go hand in hand.
