Course description

Studying in the Bachelor's program "Metallurgy and Metal Forming" equips you with comprehensive engineering skills in metallurgy and forming technology for producing and processing metallic materials. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary and cross-system courses, fostering your ability to tackle complex engineering problems. The program's international focus aligns with market globalization, making it accessible for foreign students. You'll delve into technologies and processes crucial for industrial practice, such as steel production and processing, and non-ferrous metals like aluminum, copper, magnesium, nickel, and titanium. These materials and their alloys are continually evolving to meet new technological demands. You'll also explore forming manufacturing processes, including primary and secondary forming, which shape material properties. This covers both hot and cold forming in the iron, steel, and non-ferrous metal industries, as well as sheet metal and cold solid forming in manufacturing technology. The training balances a focus on materials and production, preparing you for a dynamic career in metallurgy and metal forming.
